About Mark Olmsted

Mark Olmsted has not only been around the block, but he also landscaped the block. Out at 16 in the late 70s in Manhattan, his life experience covers before, during, and after AIDS--including a dark descent into addiction and prison, which yielded both a memoir, "Ink from the Pen," and a lengthy profile on GQ.com, "The Curious Cons of the Man Who Wouldn't Die." He is a prolific blogger, poet, and screenwriter, with a B.F. A. from NYU Film School and a Master's Degree in the Humanities from Mt. St. Mary's University. He lives in Los Angeles with his partner, David.
